Our key technologies.

Many years of experience in the medico industry have made us strong in a range of technologies – from the first unwind to the finished, packed product.

Nine technologies, one line.

We combine these technologies into highly automated lines for ostomy, continence and general medico products – tailored to your product and process.

01

Wind and unwind technology

Our wind and unwind technologies ensure that flexible materials are fed into the process with a constant web tension. This is a fundamental feature for uniform products and continuous production. We have developed the technology for handling plastic film, foil, textile, paper and labels.

02

Chain pull conveying

Our chain pull conveying is based on grip chains that hold the material with a high degree of precision. Support welds are often one of the first steps after a foil, film or textile is inserted in the grip chain – enabling very precise integration of further items and hole or contour punching, keeping materials in place without stretching or collapsing.

03

Lane steering and precision punching

Our lane steering is automated with sensor monitoring and high precision. This ensures even products when they are conveyed forward for punching or joining. We have developed processes and technologies for punching and joining soft and hard plastic, foil, film and rubber materials.

04

Joining technology – welding

We are very experienced in developing technology for joining soft materials and integrating hard items – e.g. plastic film and textiles that must be joined before further processing, or flanges and valves joined with soft materials. We have developed processes for heat, impulse, ultrasound and high-frequency joining.

05

Unifying and assembly

We have experience with processes for high-volume unifying and assembly of e.g. plastic components, capsules, valves, adapters and clutches – and we integrate robotics in our solutions.

06

Packaging technology

We have built various solutions for packaging end products – including box raising, folding, blister packing, handling and loading of items, as well as filling and dosing of liquids.

07

Printing and labelling

Clear labelling is important for the end user’s experience. We have solutions for ink, hot stamping, thermal-transfer printing, laser engraving as well as adhesive and dotter solutions – on soft and hard plastic, film, foil, rubber, paper and cardboard.

Ink · hot stamping · TTO · laser

08

Closing systems

We have developed closing systems used for e.g. capsules, needle shields, catheter handling and similar products.

Capsules · needle shields · catheters

09

Vision and control

We integrate vision wherever it adds value: precise placement and positioning of items throughout the process – often together with robots for handling – and vision and control for quality assurance on key items and processes throughout production.

Where the technologies are used.

Ostomy Care

Machines for ostomy products that optimise production, minimise waste and ensure consistent, high quality.

Continence Care

Advanced machines for continence products – built for complex materials and precise requirements.

General medico

Assembly, handling and (pre)packaging of components for medical devices.
